BONNIE BONES is a conceptual clothing label, which aims to be a truly divers and inclusive brand.
We believe to achieve this, we have to find new terms. When we talk about clothing, pretty much all of the words we use to describe garments, are gender stereotypical. We need to find new and neutral words to describe clothes. No matter what gender, ethnicity, body shape or age, what we all share is the underlying structure that defines us as a human being: our skeleton. We all are build from the same composition of bones, and each of them is in correlation to the clothes we cover it with. Tops cover our trunk and upper extremities, bottoms our lower extremities. So why not name garments after the bones they cover?
